Title: “Advocating for Young Children with Varying Diversities: Using the Language of Visual Arts in Observation and Assessment”

For the week of Finals you will have a video presentation for your Conclusion:
What are ways you can advocate for young children with varying diversities fairly in Observation and Assessment? (6d). How would you communicate this learning to someone, using the Language of Visual Arts? Create a representation (with a photo) with a “story” to explain it. Be creative!! (6a, AWL). Remember “Varying Diversities” is CLAD: Cultural, Language, Ability Diversity. These are children who may or may not have special needs, come from the non-dominant culture, or speak another native language. These children are at a disadvantage when it comes to observation and assessment-so how will YOU advocate for best practices with these children?
The Language of Visual Arts could be a myriad of things: colored picture, collage, photograph, computer generated item, or video (when video-taping you could do a song, poem, free thought, word association).
Your presentation should only be about 5 minutes in length.
