“Exploring Labor and Society: Critical Engagement with Course Readings and Outside Sources”

(Sociology:Labor & society level 315 ) There are two tasks to get done here ; the first task is to write four memos. each memo should be based on one of these readings you decide to engage with. you will have to: • Engage with ideas and arguments you found interesting (or, not) and why. • Make connections between the readings . • Include references to materials from outside the course readings (articles, podcasts, documentaries etc.) These memos are not to simply provided a review of the readings. Instead, they should demonstrated critical engagement with the readings and class material. Memos will strictly be between 300~ 500 words. ” note that you should pick only one reading from the readings I provided and an additional outside source/reading you are interested in and you find conneconnected to the reading you decided to weite your memo about to support the whole memo with. make sure sure you choose a source that matches with your topic and that this source it reliable and good for academic use. , it could support it or perhaps illustrate a whole different view of it it’s up to you . most importantly make it interesting and not just based that one reading you chose to write about but it’s a mixture of the two sources. , don’t try to sum it up. Again lastly don’t forget youll be using a mixture of the sources i gave you and outside (reliable, credible, unbiased scholarly sources) that match with the content of this class and the connected to reading you   picked to engage with. Youll engage with one of the six readings I provided. Don’t forget each memo should contain one of the class readings (6 readings) and one outside source that either supports your engagement, argues it Or however you want to make the connection between the two sources, at the end just make sure it’s  interesting  and creatively relevant.
