A comparison between the short story and the 1962 Film of “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge”
Prompt:  Write a researched and documented essay comparing the short story “An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge” with the 1962 film of the same title.

The heading, page numbers, title, and spacing are in MLA format. Each paragraph is indented. There are no abbreviations and everything is spelled correctly.
Thesis Statement and Rationale: There is a clear thesis statement, which include a rationale or reason for the statement. Please highlight the thesis is yellow.

You can’t expect that your reader has also read the story you are writing about, so you include a short summary of the story. The summary should include the facts of the story without commentary or evaluation. The summary should be one paragraph in length.
Summary and Details of the 1962 Film
Scene-by-Scene Analysis and Evaluation of the film against the story.  You should examine several scenes/sections of both the story and film.  How do they compare?  What does you research contribute to this discussion?  Be thorough in your discussion.
Conclusion:  Here you sum up the pros and cons of each and come to some conclusions.
Effective Incorporation of outside Sources into the Discussion:  A minimum of six sources is required.  Please introduce the source, establish the validity of the source and briefly summarize the source. Only placing the last name of the author of the source in parentheses is not enough
