Examination of your contribution to the work produced, with particular emphasis on your key production role in the form of a:
Portfolio.
Your Portfolio should contain notes, drawings, comments, photos and a 1500 word written reflection of your contribution.
1) Collaborative ability / Communication / Teamwork
2) Awareness of process / Problem solving skills / Flexibility
3) Practical production skills in area of specialisation
4) Conceptual skills / Sophistication of thinking
5) Enterprise/ Resourcefulness / Self-reliance / Independence
Portfolio
Your Portfolio illustrates your engagement with your film project from day one of the course to the screening of the finished film.
Your Portfolio should consist of:
1. A selection of material that illustrates the evolution of your creative contribution to the film.
2. A selection of material that evidences your collaborative and organisational input to your team.
It might include sections containing:
Storyboard Marked up script
Floor plans / sketches / drawings Schedules
Budgets / Fundraising Call sheets
Lighting plans Colour schemes Mood boards Set designs Sound plans Photographs Film references etc etc.
Portfolio Specifications
– A4 in size, consisting of no more than 20 x double–sided sheets.
– Essentially visual in nature, containing annotated explanatory notes. Maximum word count is 1,500.
– Highly organised containing an index at the front.
– Reflective of both your creative and organisational capabilities.
