For this assignment, you will be required to interview someone about their job in order to assess this person’s occupation in terms of its ‘job quality’. Papers must include the following information: (i) A detailed description of the respondent’s occupation; (ii) a review of Kalleberg’s (2011) five objective characteristics of a ‘good job’; (iii) an analysis of the respondent’s answers to interview questions regarding these five characteristics; (iv) a consideration of the ‘subjective’ aspects of job quality, based on the respondent’s satisfaction or fulfillment with their job; and (v) a judgment on the overall quality of the respondent’s occupation, supported by an explanation.
